Class A CDL required for Crane Operators and Drivers. Travel is required for this position – could be gone for two or three weeks at a time. A pre-employment drug screen and background check will be conducted on all applicants interested in working for Stark. Hotel and food is paid for by the company. In The Beginning

Like its founder, Gerald Stark, Stark Transportation and Pipeline Services was born and raised in the Houston, Texas area. In 1995, Gerald and his father started a company that offered pigging hot shot services in the pipeline industry. In 2003, Gerald started his own transportation company. In 2008, he teamed up with his father and in 2012, father and son merged their two companies into one. The new company, Stark Transportation and Pipeline Services (Stark), offered pigging equipment delivery and related pipeline pigging services.


Although Stark began as a delivery system for pigging equipment, the company now offers a variety of services that go beyond shipping. From in-field transportation and crane services, to pipeline tracking and data collection, Stark is the only company that delivers pigs to launch and receive sites, and helps supply manpower in the pipeline fields.

Located now in Waller, Texas, the company now owns and operates a fleet of equipment needed to do its job, including more than 12 cranes in various sizes, 20 trucks, 18-wheelers, one-ton pick-ups with trailers and other machinery geared to operate in various terrains across the country. Stark also employs 25 operators who are committed to helping clients overcome even their biggest challenges from the beginning of a project through to its completion.

Since 2008, Stark has earned a reputation of delivering on its promises. Dependability, professionalism and safety are paramount to its success. Stark trucks and in-field equipment can now be found at pipeline sites all across North America. The company will even send employees, on a contract basis, to Alaska. Now much more than a one-man, one-truck operation, Stark pulled together the right people, the right resources and the right vision.
